Short Biography

Marc Richardson is a Senior Researcher in the Next Generation Web Research group, part of Research & Venturing at British Telecommunications plc. He joined BT in 2001 as a developer of knowledge management applications and was involved in the formation of a successful knowledge management spin-off company Exago, which is now part of Corpora Plc. His work is currently focused on research of the semantic web and its application in the telecommunications domain. He has been involved in a number of projects related to the semantic web and web services, including the EU 5th framework ‘Semantic Web enabled Web Services’ (SWWS) and the EU 6th framework ‘Data Information and Process Integration with Semantic Web Services’ (DIP).
